About SV Loil Volleybal

A local volleyball club with senior, youth and Volleystars teams

SV Loil Volleybal has around 150 members. The club has six women’s teams, including two teams in the recreational competition. The other women’s teams play in the 1st division, after promotion last season, and in the 3rd division.

The club also has one men’s team in the 2nd division, an A team, a B team, two C teams and five Volleystars training groups. Each Volleystars group provides around three competition teams. In addition to indoor volleyball, members also enjoy beach volleyball during the outdoor season.

With that wide mix of teams and age groups, SV Loil Volleybal wants to make it easier for trainers to prepare enjoyable, varied and technically strong sessions.

The challenge

Making training preparation easier for every coach

Before using VolleyballXL, training ideas mainly came from personal experience, watching other trainers and searching online through channels such as YouTube or TikTok.

That approach can work, but it takes time and does not always give trainers a clear structure. SV Loil Volleybal wanted to give its coaches more convenience and a reliable place to find useful volleyball content.

  • Coaches needed quicker access to practical drill inspiration
  • The club wanted to make preparation easier for volunteers
  • Training sessions should stay fun, varied and technically strong
  • Less experienced trainers needed more confidence when standing in front of a group
